Israel, why can you not understand
just how each bomb makes Hamas stronger?
Have you forgotten how your own strength
Was forged from your adversity?
If every push against you
Makes you dig your heels in harder
Don't you think the Palestinians
Trapped in Gaza feel the same?
Unless you open up this Gaza-ghetto,
learn to live a different way,
then every day you fall into
the trap that Hamas set you
and the children of both sides
are forced to die all over again.
